Fernando has 15+ years of broad experience in the infrastructure finance and development sector including his current leadership role as chief executive for a group of three regional airports in Chile. He has also served in an executive/board support capacity to the Board of Directors for the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport PPP project in Santiago, with an aggregate of 18 million pax/year. He also has extensive background in executive and director roles for various airport developments in Latin America and the Caribbean with focus on airport privatization projects, PPP financing and airport administration, bridging public and private sector oversight. In Montego Bay, Jamaica, he served as Chief Financial Officer.

AENAs Spanish National Airport Network Director (46 airports) last five years, which accounted for a total of 230 million passengers and 2 million flight operations a year (2.016). The General managers of all the airports including Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca and Malaga airports were direct reports.

Pablo es Coronel de la Fuerza Aérea Uruguaya en retiro, especializado como Piloto Aviador. Durante sus 30 años de carrera militar, Pablo ha tenido distintas responsabilidades dentro de su Gobierno, entre ellas misiones con el Cuerpo de Paz de las Naciones Unidas en Sahara del Oeste, Congo y Georgia. Pablo tiene un master en Estrategia, tiene una experticia en Inteligencia Estratégica, y trabajo en el Servicio de Inteligencia de Estado de su Gobierno. Ha trabajado por más de 15 años para la seguridad de la aviación de su Estado y, antes de asumir funciones con la Oficina Regional Sudamericana de la OACI, trabajó por 3 años como Director de Seguridad de la Aviación de la DINACIA, la autoridad de aviación civil de Uruguay.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the civil aviation sector, Filipe started his career as a trainee at Lufthansa German Airlines, later becoming Sales Director for Brazil in 2000. Between 2001 and 2003 Filipe managed the operations of Despegar.com in Brazil, leading its operations to profit in less than 12 month. He was then invited to head IATA`s operations in Brazil, where he spent for 10 years and increased the relevance of the Association with government authorities, airports and other local stakeholders. Filipe then joined the Miami Regional Office of IATA in 2013 as Director of Airport, Passenger, Cargo and Security, for The Americas.

Previously he was CEO of Montego Bay Airport, Jamaica, and held positions in international organizations and airport companies in Europe, Australasia and the Middle East, specialising in airport economic regulation, privatisation and infrastructure and business development. Rafael is a Spanish national and holds a PhD in Economics.
