From 1999 to 2008, he has worked in specialized consulting firms in projects all over Latin America. After that he founded MDT Energia, a consulting firm to support large investor development of power projects. In 2012, he built Rio Energy with Denham Capital. Under his management, Rio Energy has grown from a company of 3 collaborators to 79, has almost 500.0 MW of wind power plants in commercial operation and more than 2.6 GW of greenfield projects, which represents investments over a USD 1.0 billion. Nowadays, he is a board member of the Brazilian Wind Energy Association.
