Decarbonising assets; already on LP’s lips, under the feet of lenders’ underwriting obsolescence risks, and in the arms of property owners’ looking to take control and maximise portfolio values. Yet while there is will, and need, there is also a huge opportunity to drive growth. Where is the point of infection where we consider decarbonising assets against optimising ROI? How much should we invest in implementing sustainability strategies across real estate portfolios, and how do we untangle costs vs value? After all, could the greatest cost simply be doing nothing?
