Prior to joining Cerberus, Mr. Gallego was most recently a Partner at Deloitte LLP in its Financial Advisory business, where he provided advice to different funds on the execution of portfolio purchases amounting to over €39 billion and was responsible for the servicing and developers industries. Álvaro García de Castro is a founding partner and CEO of Okuant. Okuant specialises in the management of opportunistic residential portfolios for investors, by identifying, re-structuring and commercialising real estate assets and in the process achieve above average yields for investors. Recently Alvaro’s focus is on strengthening Okuant’s relationship with investors (current and potential). He is also responsible for the Compliance program within the company.

Prior to KPMG, Ms. Fusi worked as appraiser and consultant on land and real estate developments for diverse clients, including Altamira and Banco Santander, performing appraisals, due diligence, viability studies and asset management projects. Ms. Fusi received her B.Sc. and M.Arch. from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in architecture and urban planning.
Esteve leads all Node Iberian efforts, which are organized across three departments: development, operations and capital markets. He has extensive experience in coliving, multifamily and vacation rentals and previously worked at Starcity, Airbnb and VTS. Esteve has a degree in Finance from New York University.
Ignacio is a founding partner of Momentum REIM and responsible for business development since 2008. He studied Law at ICADE and Business Administration at UNED and has a Master in SME Management from EOI and a Master in Real Estate Management from ICADE. From 2004 to 2012 he has been a Postgraduate Professor at ICADE. In 2000 he began his professional career in the RE consultancy division of Arthur Andersen, and after years of experience in the sector he held the position of CEO in Grupo Gesfesa and Deputy Managing Director in Grupo Vemusa, RE companies focused on residential and tertiary development business. MOMENTUM was born in 2008 with the conviction that the change of cycle would generate good opportunities for the RE business.
Mario leads investment management at Medan — overseeing the origination, underwriting, and execution of investments in existing platforms as well as building new investment thesis. Mario previously developed and executed investment strategies at Dunas Real Estate, particularly on the living sector. Prior to Dunas, Mario worked in restructuring in Duff & Phelps in London, focusing on asset-backed instrument portfolios. MSc Accounting and Finance by London School of Economics. Marta has 13 years’ experience in PERE, having developed her career on the buy-side specialising in acquisitions, restructuring and turnaround of operational real-estate backed platforms. Her background has covered different verticals within operational real estate, namely prime retail outlets, senior living, hospitality and healthcare, always within opportunistic or special situation structures. Prior to her career in Private Equity, Marta graduated as a MSc Civil Engineer at Universidad Politecnica in Spain.
Marta is Head of Expansion at Gravity Co, in charge of implementing Gravity Co’s expansion plans from a real estate deal and capital markets perspective.
Jose is leading the international growth for Smartrental. We are a group of hospitality and living brands leading the spanish market for hospitality (hostel, hotels, serviced apartments) and living (coliving, senior and student housing). Currently, we operate +4.000 beds.
He has also undertaken several business projects in the hospitality area. International MBA and Real Estate program at Instituto de Empresa business school in Madrid.
