Biography
Carlos Ortiz is Civil Engineer from the School of Engineering of Antioquia, with an MBA from Eafit University. Business Development Chief of the Medellín Metro, transportation and urban operator company in Colombia, where he has worked for 19 years. His main responsibilities are the identification and development of associated businesses around the Medellín mass transportation system, with scope to projects in Latin America. In his career, he led transport infrastructure projects, both in the structuring and construction phases, as well as in the real estate sector, leading several operations with public sector agencies and articulating with the private sector.
