Biography
Garvit is a Principal Specialist with New Development Bank in Project Finance and Operations Department and focuses on financing sustainable infrastructure projects in BRICS countries. He is experienced in leading transactions in Brazil, China and India. He also undertakes development and sustainability dialogue with national and sub-national governments. Prior to joining NDB, he worked as Chief Manager of Project Finance Group at ICICI Bank for close to a decade, where he led multiple project finance transactions for private sector and Public-Private-Partnership investment projects in the infrastructure space. Garvit holds a graduate degree in engineering, and MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
New Development Bank is a multilateral development bank set up by the BRICS countries, and has been instituted with a vision to support and foster infrastructure and sustainable development initiatives in emerging economies.
