Biography
Gabriel is a founding partner at Ainda where he serves as Chief Investments Officer. Gabriel holds a B.A. in Economics from ITAM and an MBA from Chicago University. He has 25 years of experience in the energy and financial sectors, including more than a decade as executive in GE Mexico where he held several positions, including head of GE Oil & Gas, Director of Business Development and Director for GE Capital Real Estate's Equity division. Between 2000 and 2006 he worked for Oliver Wyman, where he became Principal, focused on energy and operations projects for public and private firms. Before that he held various positions at the Mexican banking regulator (CNBV), including Advisor to the Chief Regulator.
Ainda is a listed private equity fund (CKD) focused on investing in energy and infrastructure projects in Mexico. Ainda has signed a strategic alliance with Goldman Sachs Merchant Bank Division to identify opportunities to co-invest in the country.
