Biography
With 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Paula Muniz is a seasoned professional known for her expertise in hotel operations, development, and real estate. She recently joined Meliá Hotels International as Head of Development, where she is responsible for expanding the company’s presence in Brazil.
Paula began her career at Hilton International in Sales and Marketing and has since held various leadership positions at renowned companies such as IHG, Hilton Worldwide, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. In 2008, she transitioned to Real Estate/Hotel Development with Hilton Worldwide. Before joining Meliá, she served as Vice President of Development and Real Estate for Brazil and the Southern Cone at Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
