Biography
Ricardo Raoul is a Managing Director, Brazil Country Head and serves on the firm’s investment committee. Mr. Raoul has two decades of senior-level experience in commercial and residential real estate investment and development in Brazil. For the past decade, Mr. Raoul was a Managing Partner at Muriqui Investmentos, a private São Paulo-based real estate investment, venture capital and growth equity firm. He was previously Executive Vice President for Business Development at Cushman & Wakefield. Mr. Raoul has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Mackenzie University and a Masters degree (MSc) in Business Administration from Stanford University. He also has business degrees from Fundação Getulio Vargas and Harvard Business School.
Paladin is a U.S. SEC-registered investment adviser and fund manager headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with regional offices in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Peru. To date, Paladin has invested in over US$6 billion of real estate in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica and Uruguay, across a range of product types, including office, for-sale residential, rental apartments, student housing, senior housing and lodging.
