Biography
Based in DWS headquarters in Frankfurt, Alexander is responsible for the European real estate debt investment business of DWS leading a pan European team and debt fund business across senior and junior strategies.
Alexander has 18 years of experience in real estate finance. Prior to joining DWS in 2015, he worked with Bawag (a Cerberus portfolio company) in Vienna, playing a key role in building up a lending business backed by real estate debt assets in Western Europe. Previously, Alexander structured commercial real estate financings based in New York and Munich. He holds an MBA from the European Business School (EBS) and a Master of Science in Real Estate degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, USA.
