Carlo is the CEO of Nido Living, a leading European vertically integrated student accommodation platform. In this role, he works with the leadership team to drive ambitious growth plans and ensure the delivery of exceptional student experiences. Before joining Nido, Carlo was at CA Ventures, where he established and managed its pan-European PBSA business, overseeing development, acquisitions, and operations across the region.

Before joining CA Ventures, he established and served as CEO for Actis’ London development platform in West Africa, where he successfully developed $500 million worth of commercial Class A assets. From 2002 to 2010, Carlo was the Managing Director at Hines Europe, playing a pivotal role in the development of the large Porta Nuova mixed-use scheme in Milan, managed the Hines European Development Fund, and oversaw the Hines CalPERS Spain Fund.

Carlo brings over twenty-five years of international and European real estate experience. He is a registered architect in the EU, holds a degree from the Politecnico di Torino (Italy) School of Architecture, and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
