Biography
Logan Smith is Head of European Logistics at Hines since April 2020. Previously, he oversaw Logistics and Industrial RE with BNP Paribas Real Estate. He has 19 years’ experience in logistics RE investing in Europe and North America. Prior to BNP, he served as Head of Acquisitions and Dispositions for Prologis in Europe where he and his team sourced and executed €2.2bn of transactions. In other roles, he has served as CIO of the TPG Capital owned entity P3 Logistic Parks in Prague, and Head of Acquisitions for an affiliate of Realterm Global, based in the United States. He began his career in real estate as an Associate in the Management Development Program of Security Capital Industrial Trust in Europe, which subsequently became Prologis.
Hines is a privately owned global real estate investment, development and management firm, founded in 1957, with a presence in 205 cities in 24 countries and $133.3 billion of assets under management.
