Biography

Anshu Kapoor heads the alternatives-focused asset management business within Nuvama Group, managing assets of ~ USD 1 bn. As one of the integral members of Nuvama’s executive committee, he is at the forefront of
several strategic initiatives for the group. At the helm of the asset management business spanning private equity, listed equities, commercial RE and structured solutions, he drives the organisation to design client-need-aligned solutions. He joined the Edelweiss Group in 2010 to start the Private Wealth Management (PWM) business. Driven by a vision of creating the world’s most customer-centric wealth management business, he is credited with scaling
the business 15x over a span of 7 yrs to US $17 billion in Assets underAdvice (AuA).

NAM offers alternative investment solutions centred on three primary business verticals: private markets, listed markets and real assets (soon to be Launched) in the form of portfolio mgmt services and alternative investment funds with an AuM of ~5,800 Cr. across ~6000+ clients with a primary focus on Alternatives. NAM carries the legacy of two reputed names – PAG & Edelweiss. PAG is a Hong Kong based asset manager with a ~$50 bn AUM and a focus on Private equity, real estate and hedge funds.
