Biography
CEO and General Director of Coyol Free Zone, Mr. Wong has served as General Manager of several free zones, including Metro Free Zone, Global Park and Zona Franca del Este.
Mr. Wong served as Investment Program Director and Regional Director for Asia at the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency (CINDE).
Mr. Wong has also served as a consultant to the World Bank, the InterAmerican Bank and as a professor and researcher at the University of Costa Rica. He graduated as an Economist from the University of Costa Rica, holds a Masters in Management from the Inter-American University (Costa Rica) and performed graduate studies in International Marketing at Georgetown University.
 Carlos Wong is the General Director of Coyol Free Zone and is Chairman of the Board of Free Zone Association of Costa Rica. Coyol Free Zone is a private company currently developing a technology park in Costa Rica in an area of 130 has. The development has a total capacity of 400,000 m2 of industrial buildings and is primarily focused in medical devices. Currently more than 2,000 million $ are exported from CFZ. Mr Wong holds an MBA and a major degree in Economics.
